Blooming Death

A ceramic sculpture of a decorative corpse flower symbolising the bittersweet cycle of artistic creation. Like the corpse flower, an artist spends years honing and cultivating their craft only to unveil their masterpiece in a fleeting moment of brilliance. Shortly after, the flower withers, releasing a pungent aroma that lures creatures drawn by hunger—just as an artist’s work often gains the most value and recognition after one’s passing. This piece serves as a poignant metaphor for the enduring legacy and ephemeral nature of art and life.
