Tunnel of Expansion
Cornelia von Bahr
This three-dimensional copper ring is part of the 'Architect Project,' a project inspired by iconic architectural forms. Its design takes inspiration from L.M. Ericsson’s old telephone factory, a historic building from the 1940s designed by architect Ture Wennerholm. The ring’s central feature—a bridge or tunnel from which wool emerges—symbolizes creativity as a powerful force, continually striving to expand and evolve. Crafted from copper, the structure pays homage to the industrial heritage of the factory, while the soft wool creates a striking contrast, representing the harmony between structure and imagination. This piece embodies innovation and serves as a wearable tribute to the architectural legacy of the era and the limitless potential of creativity.

Soniko Symbiosis Silver Ring
Cornelia von Bahr
This silver mushroom ring is the first piece in an evolving collection of handmade jewelry inspired by mushrooms and their intricate role in nature. Designed to symbolize the interconnectedness of life, the ring reflects the idea of humans living in harmony and symbiosis with one another, much like mushrooms in a thriving ecosystem. The ring’s organic shape is achieved through the traditional technique of hammering silver, giving it a raw, tactile quality that mirrors the natural forms found in fungi. It marks the beginning of a larger project that celebrates the delicate balance of connection and collaboration, reminding us of our shared responsibility to coexist and grow together. Each piece in the Soniko collection will explore this theme further, offering wearable art that carries a deeper message of unity and resilience.
