The spiral

A pendant made from silver, 3x3cm.

Inspired by my own thoughts and emotions regarding the endless journey of discovering ourselves. Personal notes from my diary inspired me to bring this sculpture to life and it represents the ongoing evolution of growth.
It has the shape of a seastar. Spreading its wings, curiously reaching out to explore what the world is offering. The spiral being life, a constant journey of coming back to things you thought you understood to see a deeper meaning.
Imperfect surface and soft edges, making the sculpture feel alive and vibrating. Like an organism filled with wisdom and reminders of being present, observing the world around you and noticing patterns.

Artist bio

Agnes Nilsson is an artist from Sweden. Her main focus when creating is to explore her personal growth alongside her art. Graphic design, illustrations, filmmaking and sculptures are some of the mediums that she uses to bring her art into reality. The main inspiration is personal experiences and the wisdom she stumbles on in life.
Creating art is her way of perpetuating those moments. The act of creating something is when she slows down and becomes present with the moment. She takes everyday thoughts and experiences in life, analyzes them and turns them into shapes, colors and imperfect lines.
